Minutes of IPv6 Project Meeting on December 04, 2015

Bin reviewed IPv6 B Release Milestone D Report, and explained what it meant for each item, future work and next steps.

Bin shared the status of his work with Genesis team (Tim and Jonas) regarding an option of enabling Neutron L3 Agent in installers (GENESIS-72). It shouldn't be a problem to get GENESIS-72 approved in Genesis. This JIRA issue was assigned to Weidong Shao, and the status was changed to "In progress".

Weidong committed to developing Compass installer support of this option to enable Neutron L3 Agent.

Iben created JOID-34 to track Juju installer support.

Bin shared the status of working with test team regarding automated testing post setup of IPv6 service VM as vRouter. The basic test requirement was submitted to test team in September before Milestone C. YARDSTICK-153 was created and tracked for this work. More test cases was documented HERE and shared with Ana Cunha. Prakash also shared details with test team.

Bin also had a meeting with Huawei's community lab, and their committer of Yardstick team to go over test procedure on Nov 20.

Weidong committed to developing automated testing of IPv6 using Yardstick in Huawei's community lab.

OCTO-135 was created for necessary support in CI. Matthew Li set up basic CI hookup. Bin will look further into CI hook and documentation structure in Gerrit.

Weidong's team will repeat the setup of IPv6 in Huawei's community lab.

Weidong's team will develop automated test for IPv6 setup using Yardstick in Huawei's community lab (YARDSTICK-153).

Weidong's team will develop installer options for neutron L3 agent post-installation, initially for Compass, and work with rest of Genesis team to extend to other installers (GENESIS-72)

Bin will look into CI hook / Jenkin's job (OCTO-135), and documentation structure.

Iben will create JOID-34 for Juju installer, and link to GENESIS-72.

Iben will organize holiday lunch party for folks in Bay Area.
