Minutes of IPv6 Project Meeting on May 08, 2015

Bin described the planning of IPv6 Breakout Session at OPNFV Day in OpenStack Summit in Vancouver on May 18. Bin described tentative agenda, topics and presenters.

Prakash suggested that Jonne may also present the migration path of IPv4 to IPv6. Jonne agreed.

All agreed to the agenda planned for the IPv6 breakout session.

Prakash indicated that it is also a learning curve, and he expects to have this proposal by May 15.

Sridhar shared Multi-node OpenStack setup on an IPv6 infrastructure. Group discussed the details of setup.

    • Revision of PoC 1 design - dual stack, terminology change and 2 diagrams
      • Progress Update from Mark
    • Applying Sridhar's Anti-spoofing patch to disable anti-spoofing rule in Neutron of Juno
      • Progress Update from Mark

Mark just finished his priority of supporting PoC in NFV World Congress. Mark expects to give update at next meeting.

  • Next Step

Because there will be OpenStack Summit on May 18-22, and IPv6 breakout session on May 18, Bin suggested to defer our next meeting to May 29. Group agreed.

Our next regular meeting will be the same time on May 29.
