Terms for multisite
- project
“project” is a concept from KeyStone, please refer to http://developer.openstack.org/api-ref-identity-v3.html.
- site
"Site" refers to location (geography), a point or an area on the Earth's surface or elsewhere. If we look at the Figure 14 in the document http://www.etsi.org/deliver/etsi_gs/nfv/001_099/001/01.01.01_60/gs_nfv001v010101p.pdf, a site is same meaning to the "data center" concept, it's a phisical infrastructure layer concept. A site will include one or many OpenStack instances, sometimes many OpenStack instances need to be deployed in one site because of single OpenStack instance scalability is limited.
