Ulas from Huawei introduced the project proposal. It is a template distribution service, which is driven by 2 use cases:
- operator's heterogeneous networks covering large geographical region
- support for intent resolution

The project will implement a template distributor (Domino Server), and Domino Clients on Heat, SDN-C, Tacker etc.for distributing orchestration templates. Those are targeted for C release.

Gerald (DoCoMo) asked if a "translator" will be included between TOSCA and Heat templates. Ulas answered yes, and a module is already supported in Parser project.

Gerald further indicated that scaling (scale-up, scale-out) is very complex, and if the proposal has been aligned with ETSI NFV? Ulas answered that they are working with team member active in ETSI NFV to sync up and align. Prakash further indicated that there is no details anywhere in ETSI NFV yet, and all would depend on orchestrator.

Gerald found that only Huawei is committer, and asked if there are other committers and contributors from other companies. Prakash responded that Canonical (Artur) already agreed to join as contributor. They are also talking with Ericsson, HP and China Mobile to add more people from other companies.

Gerald suggested that we needed more details of dependencies such as Copper and info models, and how to collaborate.

Ulas and Prakash will take actions to:
- Add names of other committers and contributors
- More details of dependencies, and how to work other projects such as Copper and info model.

Frank (Cisco) introduced the background of FD.IO, and the objective is to reuse what we have today.

Gerald suggested to add more details of dependencies, and how to collaborate with dependencies. Frank shared another wiki page FDS Work Areas, which described those details.

Gerald further asked why there are 2 PTLs. Frank said that it would be one, Wojciech Dec.

Prakash asked if it is possible to have ONOS supported in FD.IO. Frank said that they would love to have ONOS stack in similar way, and it is all about resources. Prakash and Ash would love to contribute.

Consensus is achieved to recommend this FDS project for TSC creation review.

Meeting adjourned.
